The day of Courtney and Flynn's wedding was dull and overcast with rain predicted later on, so we made sure to have all our umbrellas with us, along with all our usual equipment.
On arrival at Leez Priory we had our usual wander around the grounds and buildings to refresh our memories of this beautiful venue we had visited a few weeks before for our light tests and locations checks. The walk around the grounds also enables us to check for any muddy patches we may wish to avoid with the brides beautiful dress and train.
The groom and his party along with a few guests were arriving ready for the day as it started to drizzle.
The staff had done a beautiful job on the ceremony room decorations
And were on hand to help with buttonholes and making guests comfortable as they waited before the ceremony.
Our groom Flynn and all his groomsmen were looking very smart and ready to escort the guests upstairs to the ceremony room. Since they were ready well in time, we grabbed the opportunity for some of their photos before the ceremony, giving us all extra time afterwards for some fun.
The rings were nestled in their wooden box, waiting for their moment
Whilst the bride, bridesmaids and flower girl were readying themselves upstairs
The guests made their way upstairs to the ceremony room to await the arrival of the bride.
Courtney, our bride made her entrance as her husband to be waited at the end of the aisle for her.
A beautiful ceremony followed with laughs and tears of emotion
The signing of the register preceded Courtney & Flynns journey down the aisle as husband and wife, their first walk together.
Although it was raining, both Courtney & Flynn decided they still wished to have their group photo and confetti outside. Our umbrellas were put to good use, not only protecting all the guests from the rain but helping to add a splash of colour to the gathering as well.
Formal, and informal photographs followed with family and friends and a few laughs.
Then, since the rain had eased it was time for the Bride & Groom to have some private moments and personal portraits.
The reception room was decorated beautifully and with dessert the entertainment got underway with The Singing Waiters.
The wedding cake was a beautiful naked concoction of strawberries and cream.
