There are probably very few of us who do not know someone whose wedding has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. This is a heartbreaking time for all those couples who are seeing their wedding day dreams disappear before their eyes. Now is the time they need you to put some sunshine back in their lives.
Kindness costs nothing and during this time when you cannot give them a simple hug because of social distancing, we have come up with a few ideas to help inspire you to brighten up their day.
Get together with the bridal/grooms party and surprise the bride or groom with a group zoom party, and even better there is no need for a designated driver so everyone can join in the fun.
Get them a month subscription for a streaming service. A little entertainment and escapism is probably just what they need right now.
Make up a gift box of all the treats they love, photos of them together, a gift card for amazon or their favourite restaurant.
Send a pamper box to the bride to be. Fill it with luxury bubble bath, decadent moisturisers and skin creams....everything she needs for a spa-like pamper evening at home. Why not take a look at Blissful Boxes ? Their pamper boxes are beautiful and you can personalise them too !
If you know the brides choice of flowers for her bouquet and wedding decor or the florist she is using, why not get in touch and get them to send her an arrangement full of her chosen flowers.
Get together a group of 6 (including the bride and groom) and head out for a picnic....maybe add in some extra special treats like some bubbly to make it memorable.
Popcorn, DVD/CD and some romantic candles for a cozy night in for the couple all in a beautifully presented box makes for the perfect date night at home. Why not take a look at these wonderful candles from Green Laurels....once the wax melts away they reveal a beautiful pendant from Boleyn Art.
We all love personal gifts. Take a closer at these and more from Lara at Personalised For You Boutique for some great inspiration. Find them on Facebook or Instagram
In Laras' own words "they can all be personalised with any wording. I quite like the idea of a set with socks and a glittered wine glass with these are my wedding planning socks/wine glass on them x"
Contact a cake maker and have some cupcakes made up in the same flavours as their wedding cake to give them a sweet treat to enjoy together.
Arrange for afternoon tea to be delivered to your friends for them to enjoy at home together.
